The Admiral Staging Sidelight tower 80 – asymmetrical is designed for lighting fixtures that require extra front clearance. Fixtures can remain mounted to the ladder during transport and setup. Once the tower is positioned on stage, the telescopic ladder can simply be raised to the required height, allowing the lighting position to be created quickly and efficiently.
The asymmetrical design shifts the ladder within the wider frame, creating additional usable space for fixtures such as profile spots and enabling precise sidelight angles.
The tower features a mechanical locking system that ensures safe and stable height adjustment. The telescopic ladder is raised using dual pull handles and can be extended by up to 100 cm. Once the desired height is reached, the ladder locks mechanically inside the frame, preventing movement during use.
The tower supports loads up to 40 kg while lifting and up to 100 kg once fully locked.
Four 100 mm swivel castors with brakes allow the tower to be positioned easily and secured firmly on stage.
The black powder coated steel frame and durable hanging tubes are built for intensive professional use in theatre, touring and rental environments.
The tower complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and can be equipped with the optional Sidelight tower tube 80 to mount fixtures below the ladder for shinlight applications.
